“After 25 years as a therapist, I’m still ridiculously excited to hear every
client’s story and learn about the rivers and roads running through their inner worlds.”

Interests & Pathways
I am especially interested in the stories we carry, the patterns we inherit or create to survive, and the ways we can begin to relate to ourselves with more compassion, honesty, and freedom. I often draw on image, metaphor, dreamwork, expressive writing, mindfulness, and the therapeutic relationship itself as pathways for healing and self-discovery.
Style & Approaches
My style is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. My work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through authentic human connection. I use a blend of approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Depth Psychology, and Interpersonal Neurobiology. I offer queer-affirming and gender-affirming care, and engage with clients using a social justice framework in an effort create an affirming, culturally responsive space.
Therapeutic Focus
I provide individual telehealth-based therapy for adults in Oregon and Florida, and specialize in navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and LGBTQ+ identity exploration.
Experience
I have 25 years of experience serving clients in community-based clinic settings, college counseling centers, and now in private practice. I have worked with a wide variety of clients providing individual mental health therapy and group therapy, career counseling, academic support counseling, and resource referral. My experience has ranged from practical, short term solution-focused therapy to longer-term depth-oriented therapy, teaching me that the daily change practices in which clients engage are just as essential as the hard won insights that come from deep emotional work.
Outside of work
I am an avid reader and find joy in gardening, spending time in nature, taking walks with my dogs, and engaging with my community. I am also a wife and a mom, and these beautiful parts of my life continue to shape my understanding of love, complexity, growth, and connection.
Therapeutic Space & Pace
My hope is to offer a space where you feel met with warmth, curiosity, humor, and respect — a space where your inner and outer work can begin to unfold at a pace that feels right for you. I welcome you to reach out for a free consultation or first session.
